This workshop invites Spiritual Directors to explore the practice of Spiritual Direction through the lens of Jesus' encounters with individuals in the Gospels. Participants will examine these biblical interactions as models for their own work, drawing insights and inspiration from Jesus' approach to spiritual accompaniment.
Through interactive exercises and group discussions, attendees will reflect on how Jesus' methods of listening, questioning, and responding can inform and enrich their own practice of Spiritual Direction. The workshop aims to deepen Directors' understanding of the spiritual accompaniment process and provide practical tools for engaging with directees in a Christ-like manner.
Beki Rogers
Beki is the Director of the London Centre for Spiritual Direction and Principal of the St Edmund Courses in London. With extensive experience in mentoring, Direction, and accompanying others, Beki brings a passion for equipping people to unpack and relate their faith to the 21st century. As an Anglican priest and educator, she has been involved in teaching theology for 15 years and has written and taught across London. Beki's approach combines academic rigor with practical ministry experience, offering a unique perspective on Spiritual Direction in contemporary contexts.
